Discovery Days is an early childhood program that encourages children ages 2 to 6 and their parents or caregivers to engage together in educational, hands-on art, music, and movement activities. When you attend Discovery Days with your child, you will help them cultivate important school-readiness skills, such as language development, attention, concentration, fine motor skills, emotional regulation, and play and social abilities.

Attend a session that fits your schedule—no registration needed.

Thanks to the Dodge Family Fund and the Stewart Family Foundation, scholarships are available for Discovery Days! Learn more and complete a scholarship application in English or complete a scholarship application in Spanish.

Inclement Weather Policy:
If SVVSD declares a day as “no in-person school day,” Discovery Days will also be cancelled.

Big Kid Days

For children up to age 11 on late start or no school days in the SVVSD. Regular fees apply.
Late Start: First Wednesdays, Feb. 4, March 4, April 1 and May 6, 9:15 am and 10:45 am sessions
No School: Friday, Feb. 13, all sessions

Special Ornaments & Keepsakes Big-Kids Day: Dec. 13 (Saturday) all sessions! Make holiday treasures that will bring cheer for years to come; crafts suitable for all ages.
